Moto X Pure Edition to receive Marshmallow update as well

Motorola received a lot of heat when people found out their beloved Moto E from last year was not going to receive any more software updates. Those who had a US carrier branded2014 Moto X were also upset to learn their phone of just over a year of age was yet to be confirmed for a Marshmallow update.

At one point, Motorola was the quickest to push updates to Android. Particularly, the Verizon Moto X was the very first device to get the Kitkat update even before some Nexus devices. Unfortunately, Motorola hasn't been as quick this time around.
While the Brazilian and Indian Moto X Style and Moto X 2014 have already begun the update deployment process, the Moto X Pure Edition has begun the approval process and will begin rolling out “in the next few weeks”.

Moto X Force tipped for December launch, to carry $628 price tag

Motorola's Moto X Force smartphone, which first leaked nearly a week ago under codename Bounce, will be launched in the month of December this year, according to the usually reliable leaker @upleaks.
It was also revealed that the device will carry a price tag of 4,000 CNY, which turns out to be around $628.
Specs-wise, the handset will be powered by the Snapdragon 810 chipset, and sport a 5.43-inch QHD display. It will come with 3GB RAM, 32/64GB of internal memory, and pack in a 3,760 mAh battery.
In terms of camera, the Moto X Force - which carriers a "shatterproof" label, suggesting a military MIL-STD rating of some sort - will feature a 21MP rear unit and a 5MP front shooter.

Moto X Play might be headed to Verizon as the Droid Maxx 2

A lot of people were understandably upset when Motorola announced that the Moto X Playwould not be sold in the US. However, it turns out that the Lenovo-owned company may not have meant what everyone thought it meant. Namely, it could just be that the Moto X Play won't be offered in the US under that name.
Instead, it might be rebranded for Verizon and transformed into the carrier's Droid Maxx 2. With its huge battery the Maxx title is certainly warranted, and there have been no hints so far that Big Red is going to drop the Droid line this year.

Alongside the Droid Maxx 2 (which will actually be the Moto X Play under another name), Verizon is also expected to launch the Droid Turbo 2 before the end of 2015. Whether this will turn out to be just a rebranded Moto X Style remains to be seen though.
T  his information comes from a Hong Kong-based leaker of all things Motorola-related, who has gotten certain things right in the past. Thus, while you should take all of it with a grain of salt, there is a chance, however small, for this to be real.
So you may just be able to purchase a Moto X Play in the US soon. That's the good news. The bad news is that if this is accurate, Verizon will be getting it exclusively.
